The Rolex Arts Weekend takes place Nov. 11-13 at the New York Public Library
This program pairs up and coming artists with masters in their field. Chosen for dance, film, literature, music, theater and visual arts the pair then spend a year together in preparation for this event.
This year Brian Eno participated and spent the past year mentoring Australian composer/producer/musician
"Ben Frost. During the Rolex Arts Weekend Frost will perform a new arrangement of the piece “Music for 6 Guitars” that has been calibrated to the acoustics of the New York Public Library’s Reading Room. The Reading Room will be adapted to work with the performance needs including putting guitar amps in the bookshelves. Frost will perform from the balcony."
