Last week, the Vatican newspaper, “L’Osservatore Romano” published it’s list of the top ten rock albums of all time. Some very bold choices here, particularly David Crosby’s most excellent solo album at #2. Here is the complete list.

I definitely have issues with the bottom three as far as “all time” goes, but the inclusion of Fagen and Crosby kinda make up for it. Who knew The Pope was so eclectic? Must be because he kinda looks like Charlie Rich. The other selections are obvious and safe, but someone needs to buy The Popester a copy of “Pet Sounds”.
