Sad news for the Latino pop world, musician and producer Robi Draco Rosa has been diagnosed with cancer at 41.
If you are like me and don’t know about him, he is the one who wrote and produced ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ and ‘She Bangs’ that made Ricky Martin so famous worldwide. But he has also his own career with many albums and a nomination in 2009 for Best Latin Rock, Alternative or Urban album for the 53rd Grammy Awards.
I don’t know what’s the matter lately with all these musicians having cancer!
He sent a message out yesterday saying: ‘I received many phone calls today from extended family members and friends that were praying for me and wishing me well. It was awesome; thank you!’
We wish him a full recovery soon
