Priscilla Presley Compares Elvis to Miley Cyrus

Before you ‘wtf’ this think about it clearly. Its possible their are similarities just in a hillbilly sense but ex wife ‘Cilla hasnt had enough media time lately so shes chosen a great way to get her name in headlines again.
“I don’t know what to think of her. I mean I think she’s very talented. And I think maybe Miley feels she has to express herself and this is what she needs right now. I can’t criticise, I really don’t want to criticise because Elvis went through the same thing,” Priscilla revealed to ET.
“He had sex appeal, but one of things that bothered him was the fact that when he moved he got reprimanded by not only the public, but by a lot of people from high places who said, ‘Oh my god what is this, it’s vulgar.’ But Elvis was brought up on gospel music and watching them sing and feeling it. It’s soulful.”
I see. My thought is that Presley is not really a fan and could be so far out of touch that shes not even heard her music. I have a slight disdain for the woman who rules Elvis Presley Enterprises and turned an American legend into a limping Disneyland. There never was any real control over the marketing of the Kings wares and Priscilla and daughter Lisa Marie milked that cash cow until it became a parody- the black velvet Elvis just saddens me- they should have controlled his image and marketing just a tad more respectfully. As for Miley and Elvis in comparison… I predict the early death will tie them together.
