1. Sanctified – Rick Ross – A truly superb sample walks the same line to less effect than Kanye, who performs an excellent rap, did on “Blood On The Leaves”. 3. Magic – Coldplay – The more I listen to it, the worse it sounds – B-
4. Past Lives – Real Estate – Tepid – C+
5. Raging Fires – Phillip Phillips – Middle Of the Road American Idol winner with a little spunkiness to him – B
6. Brand New – Pharrell Williams – featuring Justin Timberlake, dance pop gets nobody than this, it sounds like a modified cha cha on steroids – A
7. Primer Coat – Drive-By Truckers – The guitars sound just like the Gin Blossoms – B+
8. Louder – Lea Michele – Why would you wanna be the child of Katy Perry when you could belong to the Barbra Streisand ancestry? – B-
9. Run Boy Run – Woodkid – Atmospheric sound freak from former big time video director – B+
10. Children – Linda Perhacs – haunting soul folk – B
