Prince Has Only Time For Young People But Will Not Talk About Marriage Equality

Prince is an odd one, I know the music business is full of them, but the Minneapolis native is kind of apart, looking ageless but having a hard time to go with his time, idea-wise I mean. We know he has declared that the Internet is just a fade, but during a rare interview with the Minneapolis Star Tribune, he went even further in the ridiculous. First, he declared that he doesn’t care for old people in a very direct statement:

‘I don’t have time for old people, I want to work with young people.’

The almost 55-year-old has always wanted to feel good and look young, and that’s why he has surrounded himself with a new band of 20 something people, however, and that’s a huge contradiction for me, ‘he dodged questions about the state’s new marriage-equality law’. Of course he became a Jehovah’s Witness in 2001, so there is no way he will accept such an ‘abomination’ any time soon. At least he avoided the question this time, he learnt his lesson, as he started a controversy in 2008 when he declared to the New Yorker:

‘God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough.’’ Of course, he fired back pretending he was misquoted, but I have always found it very strange when people with an androgynous look, who are wearing high heels and a flamboyant wardrobe with ruffles and bell bottoms all the time, hate homosexuality so much,… but my point is not Prince’s own sexuality.

Prince likes young people, and young people want marriage equality, there is no doubt about it! Gay marriage is gonna be legal in all states before than Prince can say purple rain, so he should smell the coffee and lives with his time.
