A band associated with a drink, a music type associated by something to eat or drink, it’s a little game I had been thinking about, but this website gives you an actual answer.
You enter a band name, they give you a cocktail that conjures up their vibe, or so they think.
Let’s try with a few classics:
Radiohead? A fat tire (made of Bacardi, orange juice, pineapple juice)
The Beatles? 6 oz. Mezcal
Elliott Smith? 6 oz. Moonshine
Tom Waits? 1 Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Black Flag? 8 oz. Baijiu
Bob Dylan? 8 oz. Sipsmith Gin and 8 oz. Cough syrup
Paul Simon? 6 oz. Whiskey
The Talking Heads? 6 oz. Vodka
Motorhead? 1 bottle Bacardi Rum, 1 bottle Cranberry juice
Bright Eyes? 1 bottle Pinot Noir
David Bowie? 1 bottle Box wine
The Flaming Lips? 8 oz. Microbrew, 8 oz. Ice Cream
Beck? 6 oz. Microbrew
Interpol? 1 PBR
Joy Division? 2 oz. Vodka, 2 oz. Lemon juice, 1 bottle Schnapps
It is so pointless, I don’t really see a pattern, and since I don’t know most of these cocktails…. Something equivalent should exist with food!
