Phil Spector Appealing

We don’t write much about the ongoing Phil Spector saga.  Firstoff his picture is scary and second of all its all just hind sight

But now it’s time once again to bring you up to speed on what the former music giant is up to.

Phil is asking for the US Supreme Court to review his murder conviction arguing thathis constitutional rights were violated by the trial judge.

Dennis Riordan, attorney for Spector, notes that Judge Larry Fidler became a witness for the prosecution by giving his opinion on an expert testimony. What?  The act of giving opinion is subjective to begin with and is rather difficult to prove.

Grasping straws isn’t such a bad thing when you’re serving 19 to life for for second degree murder.  Really there isn’t much else to do but work on proving the legal system negligent.

The State Appellate refused this plea due to belated filing.  So it’s off the big guys at the Supreme court.
