Sure I saw McCartney at Citifield earlier this year, quite liked it to. Wrote about it on this very blog. But if I had a problem with the concert it is just about what you’d think it would be: the back up sucked and the set list was a little snoozy. So I am going to do Sir Paul a big fave and give him the creative kick in the tush he needs. Let’s stick him in the Beacon for this set. Let’s call this outfit: Paul McCartney and the Band On The Run. Here’s the line up:
Paul McCartney: Vocals, multi instruments
Steve Winwood: Keyboards, back up vocals
Jimmy Page: Lead Guitar
Drums (who else?) Ringo Starr
