I was very pleased to receive an email from The Bottom Line co-owner Allan Pepper in response to my “Best NYC Nightclub” ever post. Mr. Pepper”s email to me and my response follows.
Thank you for your heartfelt words about The Bottom Line. They are appreciated more than you might realize. Stanley and I ran the Bottom LIne as a labor of love for three weeks short of 30 years when that run was brought to a premature end by New York University.
As you might know we are are working non stop on trying to assemble the elements which will allow us to reopen The Bottom Line. Hopefully one day we will be able to provide new memories for you still without a minimum and still with great fries.
Thank you for so many wonderful evenings of music.
I am so excited to hear of your project and wish you the best of luck with it.
I know my readers would love to hear from you and will post your response.
Best Regards to you and Stanley,
