TMZ is reporting it, but I know how it works, very soon every single blog and news outlet is going to talk about it: During an online video chat in 2010, just before the release of the posthumous ‘Michael’ album,
Paris Jackson declared to her friends that the previously unreleased tracks were performed by an imposter and not by the real Michael Jackson.
Remember, at that time, there effectively were a lot of controversy and rumors that Michael’s parts were sung by Jason Malachi, who sounds like the King of pop, but it was of course denied by Sony and Jason himself. Sony Records even released a statement declaring that the label had ‘complete confidence in the results of our extensive research as well as the accounts of those who were in the studio with Michael that the vocals on the new album are his own.’
According to TMZ, the online chat, which took place during the height of the rumors, allegedly shows Paris playing a song from the album, ‘Hold My Hand’, then one of her friends is asking why the singer doesn't sound like Jackson, and Paris replies, ‘It's NOT him … the whole album isn't even him!! Go online … go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi. That's him!!’ she even adds ‘I should know if it's him or not because he would sing to me all the time’.
I followed her advice, and that’s true, this Malachi guy can really sound like Jackson and with all this auto-tuning business I have no doubt he can fool anyone,…. Except Paris?
If it is true, if this video exists, there is no reason not to believe Paris, really, what would she lie? There is definitively nothing real left regarding Jackson…
The video chat was recorded, although it hasn’t leaked yet, but it’s being shopped to various media outlets … and I bet TMZ has made the best offer.
Iman adds: yeah, which is why rock nyc wrote when it was released that the album sounded faked and reported on the person who claimed to be the singer.
