Oo La La, It's Iggy Pop In French

When you're Iggy Pop you can pretty much do anything you want.  One time I was in Boston and he ran right in the middle of the road to stop traffic so his tour bus could back in to the venue loading area.  No lie, I'm like 'WTF that's freaking Iggy".

He is the master of flexibility and in a northeaster that man ain't wearing a shirt.  I have no idea why he loathes shirts so much but I will pay cash money to anyone who can provide me video of Iggy NOT topless for a minimum of 20 minutes.  He cant do it- it must pain him.

Anyway, I digress.  Iggy, king of the do whatever I please, is about to release a new album of songs that have inspired him.  That alone is the coolest thing ever cuz seriously, what inspires someone who has inspired so many?  I love the idea!  But Iggy is Iggy..so he has opted to sing all of the songs… in French. And yes, O know ALyson Camus wrote about it, but she's French so it doesn't count.

The album titled Après is due out May 9th.
