Dante vs Zombies have a new single, ‘Oblivion’, and it is a very addictive tune, filled of many warm 50s-60s vocal harmonies and bright swinging-echoing guitars that could just be a quick fix for these summer vacations you are dying to get soon. With them, it’s all about the dopamine you can produce when listening to one of their tunes, and about all the fun you can have when watching one of their shows.
The harmonies of the song are sweet as honey, and the hook will not leave you soon, they don’t call themselves ‘the hungry dictators of Not-Quite-Gentrified-Ghetto-Pop’ for nothing,… whatever you make of these amalgam of words.
The eccentricity and the wackiness of their live performances do not really transpire from the song, but it’s not a problem, they have a free Monday residency in June at the Echo in Los Angeles, so they will adjust this right away.
