And now for a slower song…

I’ve seen Rosanne Cash quite a few times, once with her papa, once at the Bottom Line where she was kinda rude to me, but I haven’t seen her in maybe 20 years because, to be brutally frank, every album she has made since she went singer songwriter and now some sorta deep feel folk songwriterly rock royalty crap going on.

Honestly, come back Rodney crowell, all is forgiven. I mean, Crowell might have been a philadering asshole, but Seven Year Ache and Somewhere In The Stars remain her best albums, maybe King’s Record Shop as well… yeah those three, in a row, just awesome.

But then… look Rosanne, what do you wanna say to me? You named one of your albums INTERIORS for god’s sake. You’re a typical misery guts s-s, like Steve Earle you didn’t just burn the bridge, you set fire to the town while you were at it. And the result is years of second rate sob stories and I gotta say here, I have never felt so much trepidation over a show in my enite life. I just know I’m gonna regret it… I just know it is…
