The festival will consist of approximately 100 bands performing at 10 venues across Albany This festival was created to give exposure to local bands as well as give some seminars on how to make it in the biz. A great street level event sure to bring alot of exposure to the area as well as an awesome opportunity to discover some raw talent!
rocknyc will be at this event finding whos best and keeping score. How to cover ten venues is going to be the challenge. Im not sure how big Albany is but it better have good parking or great cabs. I also think I'd better invest in a map, considering my sense of direction this could be dangerous.
Whats odd about all of this is the headliner is not a local, not a New Yorker and not even an American. Who booked the Wombats?! I mean I am very glad they did, theyre awesome but where do they fit?
