Last night saw the first concert in the eagerly anticipated Monsters Of Folk tour at the Commodore in Vancouver. A quick study of the set list finds precisely one Bright Eyes song, though it is a goodie. That would be “Another Travelling Song” -otherwise the almost three hour set is essentially album plus obscurities and on first viewing seems a bit of a snooze -though I wonder if that is Don Mclean’s “Vincent”. I got the set list off the website Guttersnipe and here is the url: http://www.guttersnipenews.com/2009/10/14/monsters-of-folk-tour/
