The Doomed Show is what the Michael Jackson tribute concert is being called by insiders (and outsiders) as the show is not sanctioned by that hardcore Jackson estate.
Ya gotta admire the nerve to throw a party for a dead pop star without the a-ok of the managing partners. The concert is a huge undertaking scheduled for October 8 at Millennium Park in Cardiff Wales.
So far, confirmed to perform are The Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Cee Le Green, Smokey Robinson, and Beyoncé (via satellite), and then the list gets odd.. Ne-Yo and Alien Ant Farm? That's pretty impressive.
The Jackson camp is even divided on this event which is just 2 weeks away. Sister Janet is a neigh, mother Katherine is cool with it and (this is the best part) brothers Tito and Rebbie would prefer to do a tribute tour. WHO THE HELL is REBBIE?
The excuse is the ongoing trial of Jackson's drug dispensing doctor Conrad Murray makes it bad timing but as always, follow the money. Somebody has not paid somebody for something and that is the worst sort o unprofessionalism.
Anyway.. sources say it'll get canceled so we wait and we watch. I suggest they rename it the "Iman Lababedi Birthday Tribute" throw in Ramona, and a For Science Reunion and celebrate the bosses birthday instead.
