The problem with ITunes is that if a track hits you wrong it can spoil you on a band, that might be quite good.
Metronomy had a single I didn't much like and I pursued it not much further except to sneer at their nomination for the Limey Mercury Award.
But after hearing that Metronomy were playing a free concert on Thursday,I decided to spotify the entire recently released album,The English Riviera, and it is really pretty cool in a low key lo-fi electronic way.
The band is playing Pier 54 on Thursday and if I wasn't going to see Bobby Keys I made well have gone. It is free of charge as part of the Hudson River Rocks series,
