Fan Leaves Baby At Dolly Parton's Doorstep

What are our heroes really like? Honestly, I have no clue. Hell, I don't lnow what my friends are really like.

There are SOME clues though. I've heard that david Lee Roth, Heather Locklear and, of course, Dolly Parton, are very nice people.

Dolly for one is the anti-Katy Perry. Or else has really great PR. While Perry is telling her driver's not to dare stare her in the face, Dolly was dating them.

The Perry rider story has colored her image so completely, she will never get out from under it. Everything she says, I wrote a post a couple of days ago about her tastelessly paying tribute to her husbands sobriety on the back of Amy Winehouse's death. In different circumstances, you can just put it down to silliness. But with what we now know of Perry, malice is probably closer to the truth. I have a friend who thinks HIS FAMILY is the best family on earth. Everybody isn't quite ood enough. Perhaps so, perhaps not, the air of superiority is nauseating. At the heart of Perry is a sense of insecurity and spitefulness that erupts in ego.

And Dolly is the opposite of that. She always seems to have her sense of self in preciise proportion to the world about her.

Here is a story I got off Windy City Times by way of canoe.ca "Years ago when I first started being a big star I had fans that were fanatical. It was when Jolene was a big hit. We came home one day and there was a baby in a box at our gate with a note in it. The note said, ’My name is Jolene, my momma has left me here and she wants you to have me’. Of course, we all freaked out! “We immediately called Human Services and took care of the baby until they got there. We never did know or hear anything about it. I knew nothing else. What do you do in a situation like that? There are some loony people in this world!”

Yes there are but you kinda understand as well.
