Kevin Faraday was hit in the stomach with a microphone during taping of the MTV show "Making The Band" at the Hammerstein Ballroom in 2008. It is now 2012, and apparently it’s a slow reaction cuz he is now suing Live Nation, P Diddy, MTV, Danity Kane And The Holy Spirit Association of World Christianity…and I'm not even making that up.
Farady is seeking unspecified damages but Live Nation states that if there was real injury an d it was not Faradays own fault, then they still wouldn't be liable. The fault would then roll to Diddy and MTV.
I say there has got to be a statue of limitations on this thing- 5 years for a mic to the gut?
I would still like to blame Live Nation for everything but in this case its so lame that I cant even find a way to manipulate them to blame. Unless of course that mic was sent via cannon.. then maybe there is a shot.
Live Nation has filed response asking that the case be dismissed. Yeah, I’m with them.
