Madonna is a total hypocrite, but should we be surprised?
Diverse sources are reporting that Madonna was anything but pleased by M.I.A.’s obscene gesture during Sunday’s Super Bowl performance.
MTV UK is saying that Madonna was in fact furious with the British rapper, quoting a source who spoke to the Sun:
‘Madonna wasn't impressed. She prides herself on professionalism. M.I.A did nothing similar in rehearsals. Nobody knew she was going to pull this stunt.’
‘Madonna wanted to put on a world-beating performance. But everyone ended up talking about this girl's middle finger.’
And Madonna herself even told Ryan Seacrest the following:
"I understand it’s punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity, it seemed negative. It’s such a teenager …irrelevant thing to do … there was such a feeling of love and unity there. What was the point?’
Listen to this! Madonna is offended by a middle finger? It looks like she is rather pissed off because the attention was shifted from herself to M.I.A.,and so things didn’t turn exactly as she had planned.
But I was saying that Madonna is a hypocrite,… just look at this picture above!! And I was able to find several of them,… as if Madonna had never done this before, and she was far past her teens.
The funny thing is that, according to some sources, M.I.A. has just split from her fiancé and so her middle finger was in fact directed to him and not to America or whatever has been advanced, which kind of removes most of the rebellious nature from the whole incident. Sometimes a middle finger is just a middle finger.
