A stretch I know, and to be honest I can’t remember why on earth I decided this was a good idea. Maybe because it is relatively close to my home. Or maybe I just thought it would make a fun story. Honestly, I have no idea… but, Foo Fighters at Citifield on Wednesday. You can tell your grandchildren, or maybe just the girl in the cubicle net to you, that you were there when… This Wednesday.
Monday – Natalie Prass – Bowery Ballroom – Last time we heard from her she wasn’t dating Ryan Adams but was canceling the concert 20 minutes before she was supposed to go on stage. This is the make up performance, so you and your luck.
Tuesday -Colbie Caillat, Christina Perri w/ special guest Rachel Platten – Remember when Colbie was cool – lasted for around an evening two years ago. Still, she might pull it off again.
Wednesday – The Mighty Mighty Bosstones – Webster Hall – I haven’t seen these guys in years, a really great ska band. Lots of fun.
Wednesday – Daryl Hall And John Oates – I remember panning these guys in the Voice and getting death threats.
Wednesday – Nile Rodgers, Chic, Robin Thicke, Common, Miri Ben-Ari, Jonathan Butler – A charity event to build a hospital in Nelson Mandela’s name.
Thursday – Salt N Pepa – BB Kings – Time to shoop again
Saturday, Sunday – U2 – MSG – The buzz on this show is very very loud… I am going next week
