Viet Cong And Death
Viet Cong And Death

Death – Viet Cong – At eleven minutes on length you’d think this awesome rock drone push and punish finishing “The End” would slacken somewhere but it never relents and its unyielding, ugly power changes a good album to a great one – A

Gun Fightin Man – Ryan Bingham – Does Ryan think that dropping the “g” gives him legitimacy. It doesn’t and this is croaky crappola – C

Fade – Sleater-Kinney – This is a relatively lousy ending to the album – C+

Odds Of Even – Marilyn Manson – Did you make it this far? Your reward was this turgid slug – C-

Everything’s Coming Up Roses – The Night Terrors of 1927 – Sondheim and the Replacements have nothing to worry about – C

Spring – Lupe Fiasco – Lovely but slight – B

Spectacular Rival – George Ezra – Just dreadful, did he forget how to write a song? – D+

Twin Skeletons (Hotel In NYC) – Fall Out Boy – They left the worse for last, FOB by the numbers – C-
