Theo And Dev
Theo And Dev

Figure It Out (feat Devonte Hynes And The Force MDs) – Theophilus London – What? Dev and Theo produced by Kanye West? Somebody over at Pitchfork is thumbing their thesaurus hard. It isn’t bad, nice funk rhythm – B+

Let Then In – Pvris – I don’t know em but I already hate em, the latest Paramore wannabes, but who would want to be Hayley? – C

All Those Dreams (Orchestral) – Neil Young – Just because you can write songs like breathing doesn’t mean you should – C-

Be Myself – Ryan Hemsworth – blah – C-

Valya – Mariachi El Bronx – One of those bands you only need one song from and this isn’t that – B

Unbreakable – Dirty South, Sam Martin – Ok, this is beginning to put me in a bad mood – C

A Shelter, A Deapon – Deptford Goths – A shellshock, a snooze

GRADE – Dean Blunt – The horns sound great but that’s the most you can say about this mood piece – C+

Nobody (with Charlie Worsham) – The Doobie Brothers – Country blues, a bit of a slog but it could be worse – B-

Slut Live – Big Star – Energetic smackabout with awesome sexist lyrics – B+

Dollar Signs – Calvin Harris, Tinashe – Maybe it’s me, but I can’t hear this chick – C+

It’s The Girl – Bette Midler – Reminds me of an old Dennis Potter play… that’s a compliment – B+

Rainy Day – Ani Difranco – A lovely closer for an iffy album – B+
