Is anyone following this story? I reported earlier that Blythe was being held in a Czech prison on manslaughter charges. An incident took place years ago when a fan jumped on stage and there was an altercation- the fan eventually died.
Years later as Lamb of God comes back the lead singer is immediately jailed. Such an odd scenario and so full of holes. I fear there is much more to this story and a made for TV movie or something like Midnight Express is going to heat up the bookstores. Basically something just aint jellin'.
The singer has posted the $20,000.00 bond but still sits in a cell. Under Czech law the authorities can take three days to determine if they accept the bond and another three to determine if they will set the person free. He will be there til at least Monday. If any party refuse to support his release, he could remain in jail and have the bail money returned. Blythe has not been officially charged with any crime.
Something is very very corrupt here.
