Kings Of Leon Fans Exposed To Measles

Here is the definition of adding insult to injury, Seattle fans of Kings Of Leon may have been exposed to the measles after a March 28 concert at Seattle’s Key Arena.

This is hot on the heels (well two years after the fact) that a pigeon crapped in one of the band members mouths and what else have the ego lustrous band done? Thievery Corporation called em out for

1. Jumping the shower line at a festival

and

2. Cordoning it off so no other pop stars can use the facilities.

Then remember when they sent out a request for ugly people: “This video takes place in dockside bar in New England, where life has been hard. All characters with the exception of our hero need to look like life has beaten them up a bit. Scars, pockmarked skin, physical abnormalities or deformities are welcomed!!!!”

Tone deaf right? The thought of poor Paul Weller standing patiently in line with his shower cap and “Irish Spring” bar of soap and being pushed aside by KoL who are selfish little pigs at the best of time, barge past em like the school bully on a tear.

Maybe KoL’s problem is that as kids they had absolutely nothing and as adults they can’t control their ego, they can’t balance it right. It is nice to be a rock star of that I’m sure but it isn’t so important a job that rampant egotism makes any sense whatsoever. It isn’t so important that you should be making enemies wherever you go.

Of course, it is a little difficult to blame the band for a member of its audience having measles… no wait, I can do it: bad karma. This is off Billboard: “According to a report from the Washington State Department of Health, a woman attended the concert after becoming contagious with measles.

“Most people in our state are immune to measles, so the public risk is low except for people who are unvaccinated,” the report assured. “People who haven’t been vaccinated or aren’t sure if they’re immune should ask a health care professional for advice.
