The video features the boys taking a jiu jitsu class, and getting their butts kicked. To be honest, they are pretty scrawny emo boys, and it’s pretty hilarious to see them in karate uniforms being flipped or thrown on mats. It’s not only humorous and ridiculous, but it’s a totally unique idea and I’ve never seen a video like it before. They packed enough interesting visual into a just-over-a-minute snip, and that’s pretty impressive.
The tune itself serves as perfect background noise for this intense (and intensely silly) video. It’s quick, strong, angsty, catchy, and leaves you wanting so much more. I didn’t think it was possible for the guys to get any better, but I was wrong.
The band is now signed to Epitaph Records, which is super exciting, and I’m very proud of them. At long last, they’re on the same label as some big names in the scene, meaning that they’re finally gonna get the recognition they deserve. It’s not ‘selling out’, it’s them really stepping up and I could not be happier about it.
