Its been far too long since we gave a little nod to the man who knocked my combat boots off and to this day I consider one of the most fantastic performers of all time.
Today I offer you an adorable video for the song "Johnny Appleseed". This song, with Joe strumming down the street, is such a great nod to the type of guy he was.
Out with his friends making music and people watching. All the while spreading a simple but powerful message "if you're out to get the honey, don't go killin all the bees'.
That can be translated into so many scenarios and fit so many situations. The fantastic strumming the unique plinking all added to the depth Joe had. Yet still a very pop tune.
We cant forget this guy, just don't. Everyone take a moment to add a bit of this "Punk Rock Warlord" to your day. An inspiration a master at his craft and an all around great guy.
