The ridiculously underappreciated singer-songwriter Jack Phillips is reading a new album/video for release early next year.
Recorded live at the Bitter End in October 2010, it is a career spanning home run and a must hear for anybody with any interest in the genre.
I've heard an advance copy and I couldn't me more impressed,. Jack, playing with a band and back up singers, introduces to his mindbogglingly excellent material and plays it so well. The sheer wealth of music is a revelation and though i do have one complaint. I wish it was longer.
