ISIS Wants You

Alan Henning, no cosmic karma helped

Alan Henning, no cosmic karma helped

The Alan Henning beheading is one of the most perfect encapsulations of the true nature of life: the world, the god, the spinning on its axis daydream of humanity has nothing inside its hollow heart. Alan Henning is the 47 year old former taxi driver from Eccles in England, who watched aghast at the human tragedy as poor civilians were stuck between Asaad and the rebels, that he joined “AID4SYRIA, an Islamic charity based in Britain”, according to the Washington Post, where, still according to Adam Taylor in the Washington Post , “He left his wife and children at home and drove with convoy to the Syrian border and beyond, delivering aid to civilians during a bloody civil war.”

Fourth time round Henning got nabbed by ISIS (the Islamic State In Iraq And Syria), kidnapped and eventually beheaded.

ISIS, who are like some form of social media looking glass, where the reflection is the strangest thing, apparently wouldn’t believe Al Quaida, when Al Quaida claimed, Henning was there solely to help, they couldn’t believe an English man would help a Moslem, assumed he was a spy especially since he had a computer in his passport, Washington Post again, reporting Majid Freeman, a Moslem helper and friends with Henning, eyewitness explanation: “Freeman says he tried to explain that all British passports now have microchips, even showing them his own, but he says he was ignored.” I heard he was bought from the rebels by ISIS. That might have been the equally decapitated and dead David Haines.

Either way, it is story with a moral and the moral is best expressed by stating the obvious: life has no moral center of gravity, no karma, no right or wrong, its only moral is an absolute quagmire of calamity that hits everybody equally. A battering ram of cosmic indifference. And Henning is the poster boy for it.

It makes ISIS an incredibly stupid organization, a true terror. No worse and no better, but scarier and more irrational.

There is a hope that you can get out of terrorism, war, WW3, whatever the conflict is, through a little luck and through figuring out the rules. You can survive, maybe, if you know how, but ISIS position is you can’t get out. And while the world trembles at these guys, these guys involve the entire world, the young, they flock to them because, well, for one reason, because it isn’t 1977 and there is no punk rock to amass the children and give em some purpose bigger then themselves.

ISIS are like a punk rock movement, a modern music scene, it is like today: it is like following a band on twitter: the information comes through the same way, hip, jargoned, cool slash and burn Beatle John ultra ultra violence.

With a mix of hi tech hi jinx, Yankee armor, and a creative department who act like a specialty advertising agency, they spread the word in appealing coatings of dread and last gang of town. First we take Iraq and then we take Syria.

So who is behind it? Well, anybody who wants to fuck over Iran should be in bed to some degree with ISIS (the US sure was, the Gulf States, Turkey, like that) but Assad didn’t fall and ISIS didn’t follow the script. The Gulf States agreed to make love with ISIS, only to discover once they got home for the big night, ISIS were throwing them on the bed and performing nonconsensual anal. ISIS are the date rape of terrorist groups.

Yeah, ISIS are punks alright.

Meanwhile, they make their little movies and stick em on the worldwide Interweb and in a world where Robert Plant can’t sell 100K copies of his latest album, ISIS mix violence, God and Facebook in a lethal combination.
