Gwen Stefani Playing The Hammerstein October 17th, 2015
The last time I saw Gwen Stefani, nearly exactly a year ago, she was performing an excellent greatest hits package with her band No Doubt, at Central Park for Global Citizen. She was really incredible and the time before that, at MSG on her first solo tour, pushing the awesome Love Angel Music baby, she was, if anything even better. Me and my friend slip slided down to the 100s to the side of the street and she was practically sitting on my knee.
Unfortunately, in the interim Gwen has released another iffy solo album, a simply dreadful No Doubt album, and this year a handful of crappy singles.
But live? Live the woman has it and then some and so if you can get a balcony seated for her gig on October 17 th at Hammerstein Ballroom ( a Saturday no less… well, don’t mess about, despite the pricey GA at $80 it should be worth the while. It is a one off as part of her MasterCard Deal.
