Governors Ball Announce Schedule!!!

Governor's Ball Impressive Line Up
Governor’s Ball Impressive Line Up

Soooo, now we can finally the Governors Ball festival at a glance (see below) let’s see how the long weekend works out. One thing is for sure, it is an easy way to catch a lot of bands you wanna watch and the only fESTIVAL YOU CAN TAKE THE SUBWAY HOME FROM!

Friday: A good day to start with because you are still fresh and can start early. I will go (if I wake up early enough) Drowners, the punk pop LES band, rappers Ratking, Jason Isbell, Kurt Vile,1975, Janelle Monae, Jenny Lewis (doesn’t she have a new solo album coming out), Grimes, Julian Casablancas (much better solo than with the Strokes), Damon Albarn (but for how long?) Phoenix, TV On The Radio and Outkasts.

Saturday: I will probably get a late start (at the very least writing about the day before), I can’t wait to see Chance The Rapper (he is actually one of my biggest for the entire weekend), Fitz and the Tantrums, Sleigh bells, Disclosure, the Strokes and Jack White.

Sunday: I can leave early Sunday, I have seen Vampire weekend so often over the past year that I’m sick of them, so an early early night: Tyler, the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt , Frank Turner, AlunaGeorge, James Blake, J. Cole, The Kills and MAYBE Interpol because Helen will kill me if I miss em. But Foster The People –I will be done and done for another year.
