Irish Punk rocker Phillip Chevron

Phillip Chevron – One of the original Irish punks, the guitarist  started with the great Radiators From Space before graduating to the Pogues , the guitarist was with the band back in 2011 for their last concerts. Suffering from cancer for the past six years, Phillip was called clean in 2012, but it came back. He was 56 years old

Pat Fear – A ubiquitous figure on the L.A. punk scene of the early 1980s, Pat formed White Flag as an easy going answer to hardcore with more of a metal attitude. He was 52 years old.

Marvin Rainwater – Had a couple of rockabilly hits in the 1950s where he got dressed as a full bloodied Cherokee for his live performance. He with cancer, it took him years to recover and his moment had passed. He died at the age of 88.

Roger Pope – Played drums for Elton John during his Elton’s glory days. EJ stole him from Kiki Dee and Roger was on the 1975 tour. Pope went on from there to playing with some heavy weights including Cliff Richards. He wa s66.

Lorne Black – Great White’s first bassist, a great guy with a sense of human and a love of music, died after a long battle with addiction. He can be found on their first EP and album and the break through Once Bitten.
