Unlike most of you fools I show my appreciation to those who deserve it on a daily basis. I have good manners and always take time to thank people.
I have to thank so many people that its like a Grammy Awards event. “Industry” folks who have befriended us as a site and have given us so many great opportunities. People Mike, Jamie, Libby, Dana, Gary, and Rey from some dynamic PR firms and fools like Jason from some well known mags
But this is a music site not a freakin awards show so…

Cat Stevens for allowing my hidden hippie an outlet
Jethro Tull for giving me and my weird brother something to discuss
Prince for blending obscenity with music and making being bad a good thing
Adam Ant for giving me five years of awesome Halloween costumes
KISS for giving me three other great Halloween costumes
Frank Sinatra for showing what a man should sound like
Elvis Presley for doing the same
Blue October for making my brain realize it’s not as bad as others
Weezer for making me laugh at myself
Alesana for making me think bad thoughts…and not caring
Pitbull for .. I’m not sure, but thanks just the same
The Beatles for being cool enough to be my moms favorite band
Rhino Records- for reissuing my youth
Maximum Rock and Roll for BEING my youth
The Pop O’Pies for making fun of the Grateful Dead
Fall Out Boy for being the first band my kid and I both really liked
The Pretenders for helping me dig being a chick
X for the artsy spin on a anarchist life

The Clash for making me think harder and learn more.

To the one and only Joe Strummer who not only saved my life in a horror riot but also taught me that not all musicians are a dick and a wink. Some are actually very human loving and genuinely kind.
Oh and thanks of course to my darling co-editor Iman Lababedi for being the worlds toughest task master and forcing me to widen my horizons. I will say he is the most dynamic most wonderful and dare I say one of the smartest humans on Earth? I overlook his weird musical tastes and see the big picture.. I'm kidding. He is brilliant and I am blessed to know him.
