Proof that we have simply dropped our standards for entertainment and that there is nothing worth watching anymore, Gloria Estefan is working on a Broadway musical of her life. This action means she actually thinks alot of people want to pay over a hundred bucks to see it.
Are you kidding me? Would anyone actually pay for this? Gloria's life includes a bus crash and infertility and a truck load of 'oh I'm a Latin woman in 'the biz' type crap- oh and her husband is in on it too. There should be a Broadway board of directors who just rubber stamp "GTFO" on ideas like this.

Paired up with some fools at Nederlander Entertainment the trials and challenges of the Cuban duo will be filled with music, song and utter ridiculousness. This is the biggest ego stroke garbage I have read in months.
“I am thrilled to collaborate with Gloria and Emilio to see their amazing story come to fruition on the Broadway stage,” Jimmy Nederlander, president of the Nederlander Organization, said in a statement. “The Estefans’ journey of success, led by raw talent and passion, is captivating as it drove them from relative obscurity to global sensations.”
Pray it never happens, if only for the integrity of Broadway as we know it.
