Say what you will about Taylor Swift, she sincerely speaks to teenage girls (and Iman). She is 'every girl' and has produced anthems to teenage confusion. A great songwriter? Yep. A great role model? Well aside from that John Mayer bit, I'd say yes. Successful and well spoken and I have yet to see a sex tape of her. Well done.
Of course, she is dating RFK's Grandson, and any woman who touches Camelot tendsnot to find her Knight in shining armor.
Anyway, what better vehicle for Taylor to get cozy with her fans than a straight up YouTube chit chat? On Monday at 7pm Eastern Taylor Swift will do a Q & A with fans via her Youtube.chanel.
The promo below is a bit to cutesy for my taste. Is she really that awkward? I'm thinking it may be part of the retail package but she's not speaking to me- shes speaking to her fans, who adore her for the 'one of them' she portrays. I'm looking forward to reading about this after it occurs. It would be pretty fun if someone just broke down right there- but I doubt it. Chances are good its more "OMG TAYLor I LoVE yoUU'…yeah.
You do need a YouTube account to participate as she'll be answering fans' questions in real time, submitted through their YouTube accounts. A fabulous idea with potential fun outcome. "Hey! Its Taylor…' if that's how folksy this is going to be- its going to be a riot.
