Freedom to Marry is an organization which campaigns for the right of same-sex couples to marry in the United States. I found it odd that there is a fundraiser upcoming for the organization until I researched what they do.
Freedom lobbies and sends in representatives to promote and secure same sex marriages. We have seen this ‘right’ revoked, the foundation works diligently to keep their agenda on track. The current rally cry being that marriage is between two people that love each other rather than an gender specimen from each side. Aside from the people at Chik-Fil-A is there anyone against this?
I hear about it nonstop. Having sex with a horse is legal in 23 states but only 6 states have legalized same sex marriage. Odd, don’t you think? I have my own thoughts on same sex marriage (and horse sex) but I don’t plan on putting it up here. Let’s leave it at that.
So we got music for this marriage and its happening in New York City. fun., They Might Be Giants, Rufus Wainwright and The National will all be participating in a benefit at The Beacon Theater. October 30th is the day to support the cause and get your voice heard. This is a pretty timely cause for Wainright who just recenty married his long time partner Jorn Weisrodt. Hey its like an after party for them, bring gifts. Considering the location of the even I am fairly certain this list of performers will be expanding.
