I remember when the Pixies played Coachella in 2004, I did not go because this festival is an overcrowded nightmare in the middle of the desert, but for many people it was a very big deal since it was their reunion after 11 years. I know someone who went there all excited to see them again, but he got stuck in the humongous traffic going from LA to Coachella and arrived just in time for the last two songs! Crazy when you know it takes already 2 to 3 hours to get there with a fluid traffic.
The Coachella concert is like a best of The Pixies with most of their hits like ‘Bone Machine’, ‘Wave Of Mutilation’, ‘Monkey Gone To Heaven’, ‘Caribou’, ‘Velouria’.’ Here Comes Your Man’, ‘Gigantic’, ‘Here Comes Your Man’,’In Heaven/Where Is My Mind?’, ‘Into The White’ among others.
