Wait, lets take a moment to review that. Foster The People have made being a hip indie, unhip and un-indie. These are the Hot Topic punks of their genre. Processed cheese food in an otherwise underground scene. They've 'made it', so they have lost their cred. When a band has a hook that your five year old neighbor can wail- you are no longer alternative.
But as in all things there is good- its just not this video.
Filled with every video visual used from day one there is nothing cutting edge or new about it. Its comedic at times I suppose, but I bet there are a bunch of 'insiders' on this one, cuz there sure arent any obvious meanings to any of this stuff. This is pure upper middle class art school theatrics.
The song? Well its Foster The People- I do suggest that lead singer, Mark Foster venture out of his own nasal cavity for a change- that tone is getting a bit abrasive.
