I’ve always wondered why this doesn’t happen more often. A woman in Philadelphia suffered a broken skull and collarbone when Angelo Moore, of the band Fishbone took a stage dive gone wrong.
So often these days hurling yourself off the stage like a flapping tuna, I’m stunned that these injuries aren’t on a daily basis.
This incident occurred on February 23 at the University of Pennsylvania. A federal judge has upheld a negligence lawsuit filed by one Kimberly Myers that claims Angelo “Dr Madd Vibe” Moore, had at least once injured an audience member with the same stage dive acrobatic. Myers stated she was knocked to the ground and crushed.
A trial is set for October 24.
