Pulp is in the air, they are reuniting, they have two dates in New York City and are even playing Coachella this year, their first US performances in over 13 years. The English band is back in the spotlight, I just saw there was even a Pulp night at the Echo this Sunday.
And it may not just be a coincidence if Fidlar has recorded one of Pulp's most popular songs, ‘Common People’, off the album ‘Different Class’ released in 1995.
Let’s just say their cover has nothing to do with William Shatner’s take on it, it is faster and more riotous than the original of course! Gone the layers of synths, it is all guitars and reverb vocals, all ready for a drunk party.
