Elvis Costello Has Left the Building

What exactly are circumstances beyond our control?  Its an excuse without a meaning if you ask me.  Out of your control..means something really weird has gone down but we don't want you to know what it is. 

We don't think you need to know the reason but trust us, there was nothing we could do to change it no matter how hard we tried.

We ran out of options the issue so abstract we couldn't even contact professional problem solvers to control the situation that became out of our control.

“To all our fans and friends in Mexico and South America we regret to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to cancel our tour scheduled for early April. We hope to be able to reschedule and return in the near future!”

The former King Of America is becoming the king of cancellation.  What the hell and how ridiculous is the exclamation point at the end of the statement?

  But why?  Bad ticket sales?  Sorta cleans up in the states when he plays, maybe the South American market just aint diggin the guy.  Today is March 19, pretty short notice on the cancellations.  Is there some political issue hes against again? 

Regardless, it seems to me random frequent cancellations coupled with playing crap events like the Festival of The Vibes means one thing.  The career is done.
