One of the greatest debates of our time is who is in fact the best rapper. Some say Kanye or Weezy or that OFWGKTA group.
Nope.
That title belongs to the Irish-English man Ed Sheeran.
The young man came across my suggestions while listening to music on YouTube, and his song "You Need Me, I Don't Need You" caught my eye. The music video is someone signing the words. It's brilliant and beautiful. A stunning and perfect music video.
The tune is fabulous. Sheeran's accent adds to his rap style and it's unlike any other. He doesn't sound like he's trying to hard. It doesn't seem as though he really is trying to impress anyone. The pure quality and tone of his voice isn't lost at all, either. The lyrics are absolutely genius, too. It's passionate and realistic, not like what rap is normally perceived as- money and fame and women. The beat is so catchy, too. It's the ideal back track.
The tune really builds up well and creates a flawless mix of sounds combined with Ed's voice. It's an irresistable song, and once you listen to it, it doesn't leave your head.
