Duff McKagan and Steve Jones Playing Together at the Revolver Golden Gods Award Show

According to Revolver magazine, this Wednesday, during the third annual Revolver Golden Gods award show, Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver, Loaded) will be joined by Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) and Corey Taylor (Skipnot, Stone sour) to play ‘Electric Eye’ as a tribute to Judas Priest. Jones and Taylor will make this special guest appearance during the already scheduled performance from Loaded, McKaggan’s band.

Presented by Epiphone, the award show will take place at the Nokia theater in Los Angeles, and will celebrate hard rock and metal. Performances by The Alice Cooper group, Avenged Sevenfold, among many others, are also scheduled as well as appearances from Chris Jericho, Rob Zombie, Dave Navarro, members of Alice in Chains, Megadeth, Antrax,….

Highlights from the event will also be televised and will be aired on VH1 classic next May 28th.

McKagan and Steve Jones (with the help of Duran Duran’s John Taylor) briefly formed the band ‘Neurotic Outsiders’ in 1995 and recorded one album.
