Summer is not there yet, that people are already talking about September music festivals. The FYF fest should announce its lineup soon, or at least give us some hints, whereas the Doheny Days has confirmed its lineup, and it looks damn good:
Sponsored by KROQ, the 2-day festival will feature Delta Spirit, Anuhea, Jimmy Eat World, Rebelution, Beats Antique, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Jane's Addiction and Erykah Badu’s new Twitter target, The Flaming Lips! Their website is promising that more acts will be announced soon, so we have to stay tuned.
The festival took a 7-year hiatus but was resuscitated last year with success thanks to a strong lineup (Weezer, Cake and Ben Harper), and this year nobody should be deceived, I mean any festival with the Flaming Lips has my approval, as they are truly celebration-beasts…
The beach front festival will take place on September 8 and 9 at Doheny State beach in Dana Point (Orange County), and the tickets are on sale at $80 for GA, $175 for VIP and $350 for Lounge Level. Err, will Wayne Coyne bring Erykah’s glitter ass?
