This is the best story of the week. The Lions aren't the best team in football and they have had it pretty rough for years. This year though at 6-2 things are pretty sweet! You cant help but be happy for the guys cuz they obviously worked hard to get there and deserve some high fiving. The team will take on the Green Bay Packers this Thanksgiving and the fans are stoked… and petitioning to have the half time show changed.
See Detriot is infamous for some amazing music….like Bob Seger. I'm joking! Actually lots of cool stuff like Aretha and Eminem and heck even Iggy, but that's not who will be playing at this years halftime. They have booked, Nickleback.

“This game is nationally televised, do we really want the rest of the US to associate Detroit with Nickelback? Detroit is home to so many great musicians and they chose Nickelback?!?!?! Does anyone even like Nickelback? Is this some sort of ploy to get people to leave their seats during halftime to spend money on alcoholic beverages and concessions? This is completely unfair to those of us who purchased tickets to the game. At least the people watching at home can mute their TVs. The Lions ought to think about their fans before choosing such an awful band to play at halftime.”
Suddenly Detroit fans are the coolest football fans on Earth! I'm sure more details are forthcoming.
