Crooked Vultures Bent Song reviewed by Todd Leibowitz

Ok, heres the deal. I will probably get some slack for this.



I downloaded a free song off ITunes last night. The song is “Mind Eraser, No Chaser”. Good thing it was free. Not sure if I am willing to pay the $11.99 for the full album.


I think the music sounds great. Great guitars, drums, etc. You can definitely hear the Dave Grohl Nirvana-style drumming in this song. John Paul Jones is great on bass. The guitars sound awesome.

Only problem is the guys voice. At times it sounds ok, most of the time it is a bit annoying. Not sure if I can sit through an entire album of listening to him sing. I guess that is why I was never a fan of Queens of the Stone Age.

4 minutes and 7 seconds is enough for me, then off to another band….
