The Wild, The Innocent, And Madison Square Garden…

Can people hold two opposing viewpoints at the same time? If you don’t know the answer to that you’ve never been in love!

Springsteen is a joke and (with the exception of prime James Brown) Springsteen is the greatest live performer of all time  I fervently belief both things at the same time.

So the news he will be playing his pre-Born To Run,  The Wild, The Innocent and The E Street Shuffle.  in its entirety on Saturday at MSG is thrilling beyond belief. The River on Sunday but a) I have tix for Saturday and b) I prefer E Street Shuffle.

Bruce has played Born To Run and Darkness On The Edge Of Town earlier this year but both are such staples of his live performance there were no real surprises. I have bever heard “Incident on 57th Street” live and never heard “New York Serenade” live and when was the last time he played “Rosalita” outside of the swamps of New Jersey.

Buy a tix and everybody form a line.
