The Cribs – England’s hottest rock band – to play Irving Plaza
How hot are the Cribs? Johnny Marr plays guitar for them when he can tear himself away from Modest Mouse.
Once the new Libertines, now just about the collest band in the UK, I have not loved what I’ve heard it, considering a type of linage English rock that stretches from Status Quo (yeah, I said it) thru Oassis, Paul Weller. A sincere but beer sodden sound. But the irving Plaza gig is a Saturday so I might end up there any way.
