Congrats to pop girlie and Strummer Goddaughter Lily Allen on the birth of her first child and … its A GIRL! The child was born Friday November 25 in Londond. I am so very happy for Allen who has suffered two very public miscarriages (that rocknyc declined to report upon).
There really is no more horrid feeling than the loss of a child. For Lilly and husband Sam Cooper to finally be proud parents is a joy magnified twenty fold in the public eye.
No name is yet announced nor all the silly weight and height info. Lily is an avid Twitter user and had mentioned last month she was experiencing 'Braxton Hicks" contractions or 'false labor", yet her last tweet? "totes excited'

Wishing the entire Cooper nothing but happiness from now on. I'm sure Joe is pretty darn stoked too.
